Field Walling

Despite some unforeseen difficulties, (buried tree roots e.t.c this project was completed with the local stone available, and even with local on-lookers to check the work.

Home retaining wall

This was a rebuild of a retaining wall to support a flower border. All reasonable stone with a rustic finish.

Retaining wall

This client found that due to ground movement, a boundary retaining wall had collapsed. I had to take the existing stone and rebuild the collapsed section and cement on the coping stone top.

Collapsing wet and dry corner wall

This is a before and after shot of a boundary retaining wall. This had to be rebuilt whils't keeping the hedge in place. This was rebuilt using lime mortar.

New boundary wall

Took a 70's concrete partition wall, and replaced it with a new wall built from old stone and old stone window frames

Upgrade flower bed

Replace old sleepers (which had been hit by vehicle), with cemented wall.

Left hand side is before, right hand side is after completion.

Update dated terracing

Replace old terraced flower beds with newer stone

Steps

This client wanted a step between tiers in his garden

Here we are 1 day later. You would think they had been there forever.
